Belynx Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and safeguard your information when you use Arkonix Life, our nutrition and fitness tracking application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:

A. Account & Contact Information

  • Name, email address, and phone number (when you contact us or create an account)
  • Authentication credentials, managed securely via Supabase
  • Public profile information you choose to share (display name, bio, website URL)

B. Health & Fitness Data

Arkonix Life is a nutrition and fitness tracking application. To provide its core features, the App accesses and collects the following health data, which you voluntarily enter or which is read from your device's health platform (Apple Health on iOS; Health Connect on Android) with your explicit permission:

  • Nutrition & Food Logs: Meals logged, food items, calories, macronutrients (protein, fats, carbohydrates), and micronutrients (fiber, sugar, sodium, potassium, cholesterol, vitamins A/C/D/E/K/B1/B2/B3/B5/B6/B12/Folate, and minerals including calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, selenium, iodine, copper)
  • Body Metrics: Body weight, body fat percentage, and other body composition measurements you record
  • Biometric Data: Resting heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep hours, and sleep quality
  • Activity Data: Step count, active calories burned, and basal metabolic calories burned (read from your device's health platform)
  • Fasting Logs: Intermittent fasting start and end times and target durations
  • Water Intake: Daily hydration logs

C. User Profile & Goals

  • Age, height, gender, and activity level
  • Fitness goals (e.g., weight loss, muscle gain, maintenance)
  • Target macronutrient and caloric goals
  • Estimated BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure)

D. Technical & Diagnostic Data

  • Crash reports and app performance data, collected via Sentry
  • Device type and operating system version (for compatibility and support)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and personalize core app features, including nutrition tracking, macro calculations, readiness scoring, and AI-powered meal recommendations
  • Display your health data in dashboards, charts, and progress summaries within the App
  • Sync your data across your devices via Supabase cloud infrastructure
  • Maintain and secure your account
  • Identify and fix technical issues via Sentry crash and performance monitoring
  • Respond to support inquiries and communicate service updates

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your health data to third parties.

3. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. Specific retention periods are as follows:

  • Account & Health Data (cloud-synced): Retained for the duration of your account. If you delete your account, your cloud-stored data is deleted within 30 days.
  • Locally stored data: Data stored on your device (SQLite) persists until you delete the App or request data deletion. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.
  • Crash & Diagnostic Data (Sentry): Retained for up to 90 days in accordance with Sentry's standard data retention policy.
  • Backup data: Cloud backups may be retained for up to 30 additional days following account deletion to support data recovery in the event of accidental deletion, after which they are permanently purged.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove your personal and health data from our systems within 30 days.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive health and biometric data at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party service providers to operate the App. These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by appropriate data protection agreements:

  • Supabase: Authentication, cloud database, and data sync
  • Sentry: Crash reporting and performance monitoring
  • Apple Health / Google Health Connect: With your permission, we read activity and biometric data from your device's health platform. We do not write data to these platforms without explicit user action.

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personally identifiable or health information to any other outside parties.

6. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may update or correct your information directly within the App or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
  • Health Platform Permissions: You can revoke the App's access to Apple Health or Health Connect at any time through your device settings. Revoking access does not delete data already synced to our servers.

By using the App, you consent to this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by discontinuing use of the App and requesting account deletion.
